No I haven't fallen off the face of the earth I promise. I have been sick, and my oldest daughter is in the process of moving back in while my younger daughter is in the process of moving back out.....craziness I tell ya. Anyway, while they are at the inbetween stage, a bunch....and I do mean a bunch....of stuff has been "tossed" into my craft room. It looks like a hurricane hit in there and everytime I go in there to create......I turn right around and walk back out....hahahaha
I will get some creations up soon.
Stay tuned......

I absolutely loved these cards. I was frustrated with mail swaps because it meant I had to go to the Post Office....I'm horrible about that....and then the waiting to get swaps back was frustrating. I guess I'm too impatient. Then, I get these in the mail, and was elated!!!! I just couldn't be happier with these cards, and can't wait to make some in a class.
Renee Nelsen headed up this swap and I'm so thankful for her time.
Thanks for peeking in today.
Believe it or not, I have more mail swaps to share....in fact, the mailman just delivered them while I was blogging this post...too funny.
See you tomorrow.

Saturdays Demonstrators Meeting ideas...
These are some of the pictures I took at last Saturdays meeting. A lot of fun stuff was there. It's a great place to get ideas....but you have to be a part of our team. If you want to be a demonstrator and take part of this fun, just let me know. These were demonstrated for us. It's a watercoloring technique, and unfortunately for me, I missed the demo. Shucks!!!
Sue Reynolds LOVES Halloween, and was asked to have a display table. She had an awesome display table.

Those are decor elements on those pumpkins. Cute huh?
These were just a few of the samples of cards on display.
How cute is this? This was one of the doorprizes that was brought. I think I will have to do that in a class, because it is just too stinkin cute.
Some cute pumpkins.
More cute pumpkins.
And a cute Halloween card.
Plus, we made 3 great make n takes, ate a yummy lunch, won prizes, chatted with friends, made new friends, and just had a really great morning.
One of the many wonderful perks of being a demonstrator.
Thanks for peeking in today.
See you tomorrow for another post of some wonderful swaps I got in the mail.

September Club Projects
These are the cute little projects that we will be making in our Sept. club.
I got this adorable card in a swap last Saturday. It didn't have a name on it, so I don't know who to give credit to, but it's adorable....so we're making it.....hahahaha Debi who is the Hostess this month asked me to demo the new Greeting Card Kids stamp set, so this is what we are making with it this month. Such a cute stamp set I must say. I didn't like it at first and now I love it.
And this BOO banner. I thought we needed some Halloween decorations for our house, not just all cards. I made two banners, because I wasn't sure which one I liked the best. This was one, and won everytime I asked someone which one they liked best. So, this is the one we will be making.

Fabric fun...
I have been a horrible blogger lately. I just went back to work again this last Monday, and it is hard to get used to after having the whole summer off. I've been so tired when I get home the last thing I want to do is.....well just about anything actually....(big grin)!
I have been wanting to blog these pictures that me and my new BFF Chris Twardowski made together for a Stampin Up meeting we went to last Saturday. Chris was asked to have a display of fun things with our new fabric and she asked me to help her. I had a blast the two days she came to my house to make these things.
This basket looks a little empty, but that's because I didn't take a picture of it full. When the meeting was over, Chris and I divided everything and so she has the other 4 bags we made. Cute idea for a little gift huh? Super easy and quick to make too. We took the fabric and decorated a box. I just wish I had put a nice gift in there first. We just took the fabric and made a very pretty flower for the top....with the fabric.
We also incorporated the Decor Elements into our display because it went with some of our fabric display. How cute is this platter? I can't believe how easy those Decor Elements are to adhere.

We also put some on some "hot chocolate" mugs, made some coasters from the fabric and a button, added a bow...and voila.
How cute would this be for a gift with the hot chocolate tucked into the mugs, and the platter full of cookies or some other yummy dessert?
Here are the 4 coasters all together.
WE also made a cute little dishtowel and spruced it up a bit. Lis, my upline, also commented that it would make a cute little apron too.
These are those adorable little candy wrappers made from the new die in the Holiday Mini Catalog. I love these!!!
We threw them in a cute little glass container that Chris picked up from IKEA for like $1.99, we decorated the lid, and it's ready for giving to someone we love.
There are so many fun things to do to decorate the lid with the fabric, this was just one of them.
My daughter Amy has requested that I make her a recipe book of all the things I make that she loves. She asked that it be made with fun Stampin Up stuff, since that is so me.....I love her...So I ordered the 6X6 Real Red Linen album and decorated the front with the fabric. I don't know about you, but I think it turned out pretty darn cute. Now to just get those recipes done and inside.
We also decorated a small Christmas tree with the fabric. This is using the matching DSP to make the garland with the new Tasteful Trim die.
We made some ornaments.
My rendition of a tree topper. It might not be a star, but I think it's cute.
This was our display at the meeting. We also took a loaf of bread and wrapped it with a bow with some of the fabric. It would make a great gift too.
It was fun to put this all together. Now I have all these Christmas projects done.....woo hoo. I also won 3 prizes that day, so I was really stoked.
I will show more of what was there on a different post.
Thanks for peeking in.
Have a wonderful day.
