These were fun colors to play with this week.
This is what I came up with. It would have been
an all Stampin Up card except I threw in the
thank you from an inkadinkadoo stamp.

Mojo Monday week 83

Yay!!! I got in another Mojo Monday card. I just haven't had any Mojo lately at all and have had trouble getting paper together lately. BUT..... American Idol was on tonight, so I watched my favorite guy sing....I really like Adam....and voila.....MOJOThis is what came out of my version of the sketch. It's a little bit of everything. There's Stampin Up in there, Papertrey Ink, Stampendous ...

Here is the whole card. It measures 5 1/2 X 5 1/2. The edge on the bottom of the green galore cardstock is made with the curly label punch. Dawn Easton has a great tutorial on her blog. To go to it click here.
Thanks for peeking in. Have a great day.

Taylored Expressions Challenge

I kinda tweaked this challenge just a little bit. I usually keep to the sketch exactly, but I kinda forgot the strip in the middle on this one....oops.
Oh well. This is the card that I came up with. This is a close up of the sparkly that I added. I just got this stamp the other day and wanted to play with it. I needed another birthday card, and saw Taylor's challenge and combined them and got this.
It's not an OMG card, but I like it. It's perfect for who it was made for, and that's what really matters. Have a great day everyone. It is hotter than .....well you know where... here in So. Cal.....too early for needing air conditioning....ugh.

Taylor Expressions Challenge

I loved this challenge. I took the sketch, threw it on it's side, and just had some fun with it. I figured I would throw a cupcake on there, on behalf of Taylor's love of cupcakes, and make another much needed birthday card.
My cupcake stamp is from the much loved dollar bin at Michael's.....love the dollar bin~~
Thanks Taylor for a really fun challenge this week.

Mojo Monday #81

I have never participated in the mojo monday challenge, and thought it would be fun. I saw the sketch and had an idea with it, so off to my little craft space in the world to create I went.
This is what I created.
I have been having fun decorating the insides lately too.
I mean why not right????

As you can see from this photo, it is a bifolding card. I thought with the two panels on the front that this would be perfect for this layout.
Since Spring is upon us...okay maybe not for those of you with snow on the ground....but it is spring according to the calendar. {wink} I would go with a spring theme for this card. Thanks for peeking in.
Supplies:
Stampin Up paper: barely banana cs, bashful blue cs, whisper white cs, pumpkin pie cs, old olive cs, and some scrap dp that I have no idea who it is by....
Elzybells stamps: spring chick, happy day, daffodil chick, mini chick bee
Accessories: making memories brads, blue ribbon, paper piercer

Raspberry Suite Color Challenge #3

Another fun color challenge from Dawn McVey. I loved these colors together.
This is the card I came up with. I liked it and the colors together so much I thought it would make an adorable scrapbook page, so I kept creating. I found this picture of my son and his daughter from years ago, and thought it would work perfect for these colors.
I'm loving these challenges Dawn. Keep em coming girl.

Oh happy day

I have not participated in the weekend sketch challenge before, and thought I would give it a shot. I sat down with my sketch in front of me....sat there and tried to think what I could do with it. Remember, it was right in front of me the whole time....and the following card was created.....what the heck? It doesn't look like the layout at all. Okay, it has the circle....that's where I started....and somehow the whole layout changed. I do like the card though, I think it is very springy. But....
I took another stab at it....and got the following card. It looks a lot more like the layout don't you think??? This card seems a little too long for me, but it fits in my envelope and that's all that matters....right???
Here is a close up of the sentiment. I'm still trying to figure out the best way to get the best pics of my cards....it's a work in progress.

Hope everyone is having a great day. See you next time.
Happy day card:

You're simply the best

I have become addicted to Jen's SFYTT challenges. I thought this weeks was a fun layout. I will be using this layout over and over again.
This is the card that I came up with today. I have been making all kinds of cards for different challenges today, and it was so much fun. I wish I had more days like this.
Just such a fun layout to play with. Thanks for peeking in.
Supplies: chocolate chip cs, riding hood red cs, kiwi kiss cs, ww cs, bella rose dsp, nestibilities, square punches, martha steward butterfly punch, inkadinkadoo stamp, riding hood red ink

Kwerner Challenge #48

I really liked these colors, and I already had all the stuff out from my previous card.....and figured what the heck....let's make another one for Kristina's challenge. I don't know if we are allowed to submit 2 cards for the same challenge, but figured it was easier to get forgiveness than permission...{big grin}. So, Kristina, if you don't want more than one card per challenge, I apologize. Here is my second creation.
Stamp: hero arts
Paper: baja breeze cs, chocolate chip cs, whisper white cs, kiwi kiss cs, dsp from stampin ups summer home simply scrappin kit
Ribbon and button from stampin up.

2 challenges in one....again

Once again I have combined 2 great challenges into one card. I took Kristina Werner's color challenge and Taylored Expressions sketch challenge.....
....and created this card. I needed a birthday card yesterday and realized how short on supply I was. I decided to fix that problem today.
I have noticed how nice other people's cards look when they decorate the inside too. Since brown is hard to write a message on, I added white to the inside and some stickers to liven it up. This was a fun challenge. I liked both the colors and the layout.
Supplies: hero arts stamp, chocolate chip cs, kiwi kiss cs, baja breeze cs, summer home simply scrappin' kit from stampin up

You Brighten My Day

I decided to combine 2 challenges together for this card. I combined the Color Throwdown challenge and the SFYTT challenge. I had fun with this one. Close up of the dimension.
I am so tired tonight, so I'm not going to list what I used on the card. It's pretty basic. The you brighten my day is a hero arts stamp.
Thanks for peeking in....I'm tired and going to bed.
Good night!
