March Madness day #2

Edited to add: I just noticed that the dates are showing February. It is because I got these posts ready to go on the days that it says it is posting, so I could just get up and hit post. If you've ever blogged you know how much time it takes to upload pictures. So, just pay attention to the Title of the post, not the date...that's what will tell us what day of March Madness we are on. Sorry for the confusion.
I thought that since March is mostly known for shamrocks, and the color green, I would dedicate today's card to those 2 very things. I have to tell you that I saw this card and had to CASE it. It was so stinkin cute. And.....the best thing about it was posted originally by a MAN!!!! I have made a card similar to this idea, but loved this one too. So stinkin cute....and so stinkin simple. You are going to have that small heart punch on your wish list before this March Madness is over......even you Erin...(he he he) What makes this card so much fun is the way it is put together. I just took a typical 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" piece of cardstock in Glorious Green. I scored it in half and then the front flap is scored in half again and folded forward towards you. Hopefully you can understand from the picture below. I added the Whisper White to the inside and stamped with Glorious Green ink the Go Green stamp image in the bottom corner.

Then I took a piece of Green Galore and cut it to 6 1/2" x 3 3/4" and scored it at 2 1/4". Then looking at the picture below you can see that I adhered it to the underneath side of the folded Glorious Green. I punched out 4 Glorious Green hearts with the Large Heart punch, and 4 Whisper White hearts from the small heart punch, and glued them to the front like a shamrock. I added a 1/4" whisper white ribbon and I was done.

So cute and so simple. How cute would these be to make and give to the girls .... or guys, at work? With a little bag of green candy....too much fun.
See you tomorrow for another cute St. Patty's day card.

Have a great day everyone.

(want to know how to fix the dates? Right beneath the window you type your blog post in, is a bar that says "post options". If you click it, it opens a bar and you can change teh date and time so that it automatically posts when you need it to)
