Pleated paper technique

This is one of the cards we made at club the other night.  I just love the pleated paper, and wanted to teach the technique to my girls.  They thought it was going to be hard, but realized it wasn't hard at all.....of course, I had already scored the paper for them....hahahaha
But this really is a fun and easy way to give your cards some pop.  I also added a pretty little flower using the new Blossoms Petal punch from the new catalog, along with some free brads and free ribbon from sale a bration.  It also uses the free paper Everyday Enchantment from sale a bration.
This view is so you can see a top view of the pleats and how pretty they really are.
Wanna know how to make your own pleats?

Pleated Paper- Cut at 8 ¾” by whatever width you would like your pleat to be.   Score at:
¼”, ½”, 1 ¼”, 1 ½”, 2”, 2 ¼”, 3”, 3 ¼”, 3 ¾”, 4”, 4 ¾”, 5”, 5 ½”, 5 ¾”, 6 ½”, 6 ¾”, 7 ¼”, 7 ½”, 8 ¼”, 8 ½”
This will fit the 4 ¼” width of your card.

So go make one of your own.
Thanks for peeking in.

Have a great day.
