The cutest carrot EVER!!!!

I saw one of these on LeAnn's blog and just fell in love with it. I had to make one. I really would love to make these for people at work, but then there are so many other cute little things to give too....so many cute things to give....what is a girl to do???? I mean really....how stinkin cute is this????
If you would like the free template....go here.
Now go make some yourself....go!!!!

March Madness Day #31

I thought it would be appropriate for my last card of March Madness to be a thank you card. A thank you card to thank you for hanging in there during all my posts. I hope that at least one of those projects made you want to go and play with paper. Since I had these papers out from yesterday's card, I just kept playing with it and made this card. This card is from a sketch I saw probably a year ago or more. I liked it then, and I still like it now. I used Matchbox Messages stamp set and my Sweet Pea DSP....again...what will I do when that is gone???? Oh my!!
And just because March Madness is over, doesn't mean I won't be posting fun stuff. I will still be showing you all the fun projects I see and recreate.

How cute is this little Cadbury Egg box? As soon as I printed off the tutorial I ran right into my craft room and made one of these cute little boxes. I also have a tutorial for a cute little box to hold a dozen smaller cadbury eggs.....too fun. I'm too tired tonight to tackle that one too, ahhh...but I will. I'll show you when I'm done. This is just a side view so you get an idea of it's total cuteness.

I'm not a Cadbury Egg girl...so luckily this isn't tempting to me and will stay in it's little home until given to my friend at work. It's cute though huh?

If anyone wants to make one....shoot me an email or you can join
ustampwithdawn like I did. It's $24.95 and you get a new tutorial everyday, sometimes two. This was one of them.
Thanks for peeking in.
Have a good day.

March Madness Day # 30....wow

Here we are just 6 days away from Easter....are you ready?
I saw this adorable card....well something very similar....and immediately went and made one of my own. I really liked the colors used on this card....it reminds me of a carrot. How yummy does this guy look? I just used my versamark ink on Chocolate Chip and clear embossed him and cut him out. He looks good enough to eat.
Can you believe that tomorrow is the last day of March? I sure can't.
If you have any questions on the card, just shoot me an email.
Have a great day today.
See you again tomorrow.

March Madness Day #29

I thought today I would give you something other than a card. The square scallop is one of my new toys and I wanted to do something fun with it....so viola.
We have here for your viewing pleasure a fun little 3 x 3 cardholder.
On the front I cut out the square scallop with chocolate chip.
I then layered it with white (3 3/4" square)
topped that with Melon Mambo (slightly smaller than the white)
took some Regal Rose (3 1/2" square)
ran it through the polka dot embossing folder
and topped that with some Melon Mambo butterflies
using the Beautiful Wings embosslit die. You can see from the side view the fun little cards hiding inside.
On the inside we have first a layer of white ( 3 3/4" x 8 1/2")
I layed the two squares down side by side with a small space in between, appx. 1/4".
I took my Melon Mamon ribbon (25" long) and glued it to the white paper.
I attached my white, with the ribbon side down towards the brown squares, leaving some space on the inside edges for the book to fold over.
I then took 2 Melon Mambo ( 3 1/2" squares) and attached them to each side.
With Pretty in Pink I made 2 envelopes using the sizzix die, sponged the edges with Regal Rose ink. With sticky strip I attached them to the Melon Mambo square, and decorated with a flower using my Boho Blossoms punch.

I then made 4 very cute but simple 3 x 3 cards to go inside. They are Regal Rose (6 x 3) folded in half.
I took some Pretty in Pink ( 2 3/4" square) and ran it through the polka dot embossing folder.
I stamped with the Vintage Vogue stamp set with Regal Rose and punched out with the coordinating punch.
The flower on the card was just the perfect touch and was made with the Boho Blossom and the Trio flower punch with a brad in the middle.
I think it turned out pretty cute. Now, who do I give it to????
It's always good to have a gift on hand for that unexpected something that comes up right? Well, I'm ready now for that unexpected something.
Have a wonderful Monday.
See you again tomorrow.

Grandma's little helpers.....

How stinkin cute is this little guy? This is my grandson Erick and one of the loves of my life. He was visiting last Sunday and his mom Ali and I were crafting. We left the room to eat dinner and when we came back....this is what I found. I do love this guy... A LOT!!!! My daughter in law Ali saw the cute, adorable bunny, chick and sheep that I had made....see previous post...and wanted to make some for her preschool kids.
Well, we had a few little helpers as you can see.
Haylee sat with us the whole time and just created her own thing with grandma's "extras". She is really creative and artsy fartsy. I was impressed with her creation...I should have taken a picture. Then little Zach came to see what was going on. I had to get a picture of that. Don't they all just look like they are having fun?I sure do love these guys and was glad to "therapize" with Ali most of the night.
There is nothing better in this world than our families, and I sure do love mine.
I just had to share.
Thanks for peeking in.

March Madness Day #28

Were you wondering if I forgot to post today?....or have you been as busy as me and not even notice that this post is late in getting posted?
I have to say that I am not typically an owl lover....BUT I thought this guy was pretty cute. I thought I would make one and show you guys this cute little guy.

Can you tell which punches and dies are used on this cute little guy? I think it is easy to figure out except for the beak. I just punched out one of the 5 points on the large star punch. Everything else is pretty self explanatory.....oh the eyes....white is the 3/4" punch and the black is 1/2" punch.

Have a great day and see you again tomorrow...

Only 3 more days of March....wow that's crazy.

Stamping 411 Challenge

I just love my Beautiful Wings embosslet die. I can totally understand why they are constantly on backorder.....everyone wants it!!!

I decided that I had a little time this morning and I would participate in the Stamping 411 challenge again this week.

Here is what I came up with!!I also love my Sweet Pea DSP. I used it with some Rose Red, Pretty in Pink, Old Olive and So Saffron cardstock...ran my Pretty in Pink through with my texture plate to make it feel fun and flighty like the butterflies. I added my sentiment from the Messages for Mom stamp set.

Thanks for peeking in.

Have a great, wonderful and happy day.

March Madness Day #27

Today is my daughter in laws birthday, so I felt it appropriate that I post a birthday card today. This card is so not my typical style, but I saw something similar and liked it.
I need to use my In Colors up before the new catalog comes out in July, so I used some Bermuda Bay and Soft Suede cardstock. The yellow is So Saffron. The sentiment is from the stamp set A Little Birthday Cheer...got it free from sale-a-bration...gotta love it.
I hope you have a wonderful Saturday today....maybe my daughter in law will have the baby today on her own birthday...
See you tomorrow.

March Madness Day #26

I have to say my husband got a kick out of this when he saw it. This is what is on the upper left corner of the Stampin Up boxes when they come. And, can I just say, that opening the box does cause extreme excitement. I do love my UPS man!!!! Arent' those boxes just a beautiful sight? So much fun inside just waiting to escape and be played with.
I love this look on my front porch. {I didn't think to take a picture until I had already brought one of the boxes in and it was too heavy to carry out for the picture....but you get the idea}
So, onto today's project. And you see this and say, "Well Andrea, we have already seen this cute little guy before." And my response would be, "Yes you have, but not in white." I just had to make one in white to see what he would look like.....A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E!!!! I made him a he with his blue bow tie as you can see. He didn't last very long at my house, because he marched himself right over to a friend's house.
I couldn't give him away without some chocolate inside now could I???? That would just be rude!!! So I took some Garden Green cardstock and ran it through the shredder, and added some Reese's peanut butter eggs.....can you believe I sacrificed those???? I know. Anyway, my friend LOVED him.
We made these guys last night at my house and we had a fun time doing it.....well except for the eyes on the sheep....see previous post....
See you again tomorrow.

March Madness Day #25

Okay, so remember yesterday at the bottom of the post when I said I couldn't find my battery charger for my camera??? Well it has been found, but it is gonna take all night to charge so I had to resort to what was already downloaded on the computer.
So, this is what you get today. I used the cute little flower from the Think Happy Thoughts stamp set in Pixie Pink, added a clear rhinestone brad to the center. Layered it with various punches in fun spring colors and attached it to the top of these cute little bottles.
I added a Tempting Turquoise bow and a Happy Easter tag that I made using the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set....this is a WONDERFUL stamp set with so many perfect sayings....you need this stamp set you really do.....
And really, would any container I make be complete without something chocolate inside? I mean really!!!! I ordered these cute little 4 oz. bottles on line. If you are interested click here for the website.
Have a great day.
See you tomorrow.

March Madness Day #24

I don't think I have ever posted so often in all my blogging days.
As a Stampin Up demonstrator we get many different priveleges. One of many is we have a website dedicated to only Stampin Up demonstrators to post projects they have made. It's like splitcoaststampers, except only Stampin Up demonstrators get to peek and see what you have done. I love this website and have gotten many ideas from it. This is one of the many adorable cards I have seen. I wish I would have written down who did it, so I could give them credit....but I didn't. This card uses the new stamp set coming out called Awash with Flowers. It will be for sale during the month of April and then you have to wait again until the new catalog comes out and get it in July. There are so many, many fun ways to use this stamp set. I'm finding it is becoming one of my favorites.
Had to put something fun inside too.
Thanks for peeking today....
See you again tomorrow....hopefully I can find my camera battery charger. I put it somewhere "safe", and now I don't remember that "safe" spot. If I don't find it, how will I take pictures of anything to post????? Oh my...March Madness might end earlier than expected if that happens.
Toodles.....

March Madness Day #23

I can't believe that we only have 8 more days of March left. Where has time gone?
Today's card is super simple....and I think cute, I hope you do too.I took the Top Note Die and used the free sale-a-bration paper, wrapped some stripped Old Olive ribbon around it. I adhered it to Kraft cardstock with some stampin dimensionals. I then took another freebie from sale-a-bration, and used the A Flower For All Seasons stamp set and used my blender pen to color it in. I then punched it out with the wide oval punch and also put it on with some stampin dimensionals. I used the Family Phrases stamp set for the sentiment and punched it out with the small oval punch....since I was on a stampin dimensional roll, I also used those to put on the sentiment.
Easy Peasy!!!
With the Close to Cocoa stamp pad I just simply stamped the image on the inside right bottom corner. It added the perfect touch.
I hope you all have a wonderful day today.
See you again tomorrow....I have so many fun projects I want to make and share and just not enough time.....ugh!!!!!!!!

March Madness Day #22

How cute is that ruffly lace on the card? So cute, and so much fun to make too. You just take a piece of whisper white cardstock, punch it with your eyelet border punch and sponge the edges with some pretty in pink ink, and then run it through your crimper.....what?!! you don't have a crimper???? well see me to remedy that situation and we can get you one ordered right away....anyway.....that's how you get that cute little ruffle. For this card I used the following:
All my heart stamp set
Messages for MOM stamp set
Sweet Pea DSP
pink epoxy brads
white satin ribbon
polka dot embossing folder &
pretty in pink and white cardstock
I realize Mother's Day is a ways off, but you could replace the sentiment with Happy Birthday or whatever sentiment you needed.
Well, it's Monday. Here we go again with another week of fun and adventure.
See you again tomorrow.

March Madness Day #21

Okay, so those of you at club Thursday, have already seen and made one of these....but, I promised you details....
Isn't this just a fun box? You can put all kinds of fun things in it, but of course, I think chocolate would be the best....ha ha ha You will need a piece of cardstock cut 9 1/2" x 8 1/2".
Score the 9 1/2" side at 3" and 6 1/2".
Score the 8 1/2"side at 3" and 5 1/2".
With your bone folder, fold the score lines.
Then cut the scored lines on the 9 1/2" side up to the scored lines, as shown in photo below.
Put adhesive on the four corners and tuck in, glue them to the inside....that's important.... This will make a box. The above photo is to show you what it will look like glued together.
You will also need 2 coordinating cardstock Top Note Dies and a Top Note die in DSP of your choice. I used Pawsitively Prints.
Trim off the outside part of the DSP die just around the perforations. The photo below shows what I mean.
Glue the DSP trimmed paper to the cardstock, and take your slot punch and punch two holes as close to the edge as shown. (It is important that you get close to the edge, you will see why later.)
Next, take a piece of cardstock and cut it 3 5/8" x 4 5/8". This will be the lid of the box.
Score 1/2" on all 4 sides. With your bone folder, fold in the score lines and then cut on the scored line up to the other score line....like in the picture below.
Glue in the four corners and your lid should look like mine below....sorry for the blurry picture.
Now take the top note die with the DSP on the top with the holes punched on the side and adhere it to the lid you just made. Make sure NOT to cover up your little holes with the box lid.
Another blurry picture....it was late and I was tired....sorry. This is what your lid should look like now.
Now take your box bottom and cover it with the same DSP you used for the top note on the lid. It will take 2 pieces cut 3 1/4" x 2 3/4" for the front and back.
It will take 2 pieces cut 2 1/4"x 2 3/4" for the sides.
This is what you box bottom should look like now.
How we doing???? Are you still with me????
Now take your plain cardstock top note die and put a little bit of adhesive on it. Lay a piece of coordinating ribbon that has been cut 30" long and lay it across your paper.
Now take your box bottom all decorated and cute, and place it ON TOP of the ribbon like in the picture below.
Almost done. Now put your lid on your box.
Bring your ribbon up through the holes like in the picture below. {This is why it was so important that your holes be punched close to the edge and not covered up with the box lid.}
Tie your bow, and you have yourself one adorable little box.
Now who wouldn't want to get one of these as a gift????
Ta da!!!! These really do make up quickly and so stinkin cute.
Now no more buying boxes to put little gifts in.....make your own!!!!
I hope you are enjoying spring. I noticed today the tree in my front yard is getting it's little green leaves back. Spring is here thank goodness.
Have a great Sunday everyone, and go make some time for YOU!!!! and go play with some paper!!!!

March Madness Day #20

How cute are these adorable little critters? I came across a website and found these cute little guys....and Tammy had a great tutorial telling how to make them. They are just the cutest little Easter boxes for friends, neighbors, co-workers, teachers....whatever. Even their little bums are cute.
To go to the tutorial for the chick .... click here.
For the tutorial for the sheep ..... click here.
For the tutorial for the bunny....click here.
Okay, so I was thinking of offering a class on Thursday, March 25th at 7p.m. at my house, for a total of $5.00 for all 3, to cover the cost. You can use my punches, my paper, my ribbon and we can have fun together making these guys. If you are interested, shoot me an email.
See ya tomorrow for another fun project.
